Our Program

Life in the school

Training:

From 8^th to 11^th grades children pass special training which includes teaching boys working with tools, wood and metals, and teaching girls handicrafts and sowing. We participate in various exhibitions and contests. The school instills in the children love and respect to labor and teaches to value everything that was made with people’s hands.

Creative Work:

The school reveals and develops creative potential of the children. We’ve got permanent vocal bands “Solnyshko” and “Businki” and dance groups “Zadorinki” and “Svetlyachki”, our own puppet-show, as well as a big number of creative hobby groups.

Social Activity:

In our boarding-school we’ve got our own children’s organization “Rainbow”. Its goal is to bring up our children in a way that they become decent citizens of our big motherland and simply good and responsive people.

Our activities are: organizing parties and holidays, participating in creative contests and festivals, helping veterans of the World War II and being on guard at the tomb of an unknown soldier, taking care of the World War II monuments and obelisks, cleaning the street territories under our patronage, our puppet show’s performing at kindergartens, working in our kitchen garden and in the farms, and also taking active part in numerous regional contests where we take prizes and diplomas.

Physical Culture and Sport:

In our school we make a lot emphasis on the physical culture and healthy way of life. The gym is opened for the children from 8.30 till 20.00. As the children of our boarding school have deviations in their development all physical and health-improving activities are held under the supervision of our physicians. There is a medical room in the school. In 2006 the school participated in the all-Russian contest on “The Best Organization of Physical and Health-Improving Work” and took the first prize among the schools of Russia!
